The Orbiter is generally installed in a predetermined space and is not regularly moved to a new location. It is ever more so important to make sure the space is appropriate for scanning.
Select a location to place the Orbiter in. A diameter of at least 150cm is required. The Orbiter should be placed at least 35 cm from any walls or objects.
Place the Orbiter with the printed side facing up. The Orbiter can be placed in any orientation but we recommend having the power cable at the back
Check that lighting is similar from all sides. Artificial indoor lighting is best. Check out the article Recommended Lighting Conditions for Scanning for more details.
Avoid any moving or solid object around the scanning area.
Connect the Orbiter to a power outlet using the cable and adapter provided in the package. There is no additional power switch on the Orbiter .
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are unsure about the space you are using.
