Bodygee uses a 3D scanner to create a three-dimensional image of your clients’ body. The scanner is equipped with infrared-sensors that are able to determine the exact distances and dimensions between the scanner and the scanned body. This body is then completed with the photorealistic texture also captured by the scanner. Since the sensor uses light to determine the result of the scan it is important to ensure correct lighting with no interfering infrared (e.g. sunlight) and that the subject is wearing little and skintight clothing. Reflecting objects such as mirrors or windows should be avoided in the close proximity to the scanner. Processing is required to fill in gaps that occurred during scanning and to assign the photorealistic texture to the right parts of the body.
