If you encounter issues with the 3D Sensor or the 3D Sensor cable please follow these steps for troubleshooting:
- Please check if the 3D sensor is charging: Plug in the black cable to the 3D sensor. Is the LED next to the 3D Sensor power input flashing (it's solid when fully charged)? If not, check also 3D Sensor is not charging.
- Restart the tablet and the Scan App as described How can I quit the scan app and restart the iPad?.
- Open Scan App, go to Profile » 3D Sensor and check if the 3D sensor is correctly detected and connected. If the 3D sensor is detected and connected correctly, the battery level, serial number and more are displayed. Otherwise, no values are displayed.
