It may happen that a 3D scan is published with parts of the turntable.
Scroll down to learn "how can I prevent this?".
In this case:
- The circumference measurements are still measured correctly
- The height may be measured incorrectly. This may lead to inaccurate BMI and body fat calculations. Check the height of the client in his/her profile.
- 3D scan may not be accurately aligned. This may be visible in the Shape view.
We can cut away the turntable and redo the measurements. Please contact us via support@bodygee.com.
Why can that happen?
Before starting the scan (during face recognition), if the iPad is held and moved at an angle and Start is pressed quickly, the 3D sensor may not align exactly with the person. In this case, the turntable is not scanned optimally and is partially cut off. This means that the cloud processing algorithms can no longer recognise and cut off the turntable correctly.
How can I prevent this?
Before starting the scan (during face recognition), hold the iPad straight for 2 seconds so that the 3D sensor can correctly recognise and align the area to be scanned.
